Wanderer, A short poem

Wanderer
By: Ryan Beodeker

I shall forever be a wanderer.
The man on the dark lamp lit street.
I'm the face of the stranger who brushes past,
the one who smiles as you scoff on by.

I shall forever be a wanderer.
Tasting the sky as life passes by.
The skin of my hands lose their stretch,
the glisten slowly fades from my eyes.

I shall forever be on a journey.
Exploring the unseen wonders of the world.
A coral reef in the depths of the sea.
A bird in flight for all to see.
The greens of the rain forest,
beautiful paintings on butterfly wings.

I shall forever be searching for the face of god,
which eludes the senses in the jungles of the world.
Hidden in the most remote wood,
where the last tribe of undigital humans,
live in peaceful harmony.

I shall forever be a wanderer.
A human cast out into the world.
Searching for the untainted sunrise,
the golden sight of a far off world.
I hope you'll come wander with me.
See the worlds of far away.
Breath taking sights,
of seafaring nights,
that only the wandering may find.
