The Struggling Writer's Bureau was founded in Lakeland, Florida and is the brain child of Ryan Beodeker. The Bureau currently is being operated by Brandon Maule (Assistant Bureau Chief), Charles Wood (Staff Writer/Media Officer), Ryan Beodeker (Bureau Chief/Founder), and Seabrooke Carter (Staff Writer/Creative Consultant).
Bureau Chief Beodeker's thoughts on the creation of the Bureau's blog:
"On August 27th, 2012 I became tired of the mass amounts of rejection
letters piling up in my inbox. I began looking for a place other than
Facebook to share my works of writing and out of this necessity to share
with others came the creation of the Struggling Writer's Bureau. It is
my brainchild, my website, my publication firm, my heart, my soul, and
my life. May the words shared hence brighten your days with deeper
meaning."

The object of the Bureau is to provide a place for writer's to share their work with one another and provide constructive criticism in a positive, judgement free environment.
