I write because of you. I live my life to slow sad jazz because of you. I've become a vagabond because of you. I am alive because of you.
Ride down the street.
Zig-zag back and forth,
you think on defeat.
I've tried so hard to forget because of you. I've lived my life with such deep regrets because of you. I'd almost forgotten what it's like to love because of you. I had almost given up because of you.
Could possibly be saved.
But been at the crossroad path,
many many times before.
By now I'm believed to be quite daft,
dumber now than er before.
I've hope again because of you. I've the will to try again because of you. There's nothing there yet, but because of you maybe I'll be revived, now true. But once again, now I write, for you.
